Where the island spirit meets the Mediterranean breeze
Phu Quoc carries the lush warmth of the tropics, while Amalfi radiates the vibrant hues of the Mediterranean. The meeting of these two emotional landscapes became the starting point for the design of Shophouse Phu Quoc.

Shades of white, yellow, and beige were chosen to embrace sunlight and reflect the breath of the sea. Curved archways, softened corners, and open balconies facing the sky were all thoughtfully arranged by TD architects, allowing every angle of the space to “breathe.”
The result is a setting that captures both the essence of Phu Quoc’s seaside charm and the nostalgic romance of southern Italy where time seems to move a little slower.

Mediterranean emotions through interior language
Rather than showcasing complexity, TD architects tells the story through texture and light. The interior is purposefully minimal, focusing on comfort and the natural sensations that materials bring.

Elements of rattan, natural wood, and linen flow through the space, carrying the warmth of earth and sea. The soft glow of warm light, reflected on white walls, evokes the feeling of Mediterranean sunshine gently cascading down each stair.
It’s a quiet embodiment of the principle “less, but better” - a space that doesn’t need abundance, only harmony, to make people feel at ease.

Another signature of TD architects in Phu Quoc
Shophouse Phu Quoc is more than an F&B venue; it’s a reflection of how TD architects engages in dialogue with local context and climate. Instead of imposing form, TD chooses to integrate allowing architecture to become a bridge between culture, environment, and human emotion.
Perhaps that’s why every TD project from a compact city apartment to a café by the sea carries its own rhythm, a distinct “breath” that feels both familiar and new, both grounded and memorable.
