Inspiration from old school and Mid-Century style

The design inspiration for this project stems from Old School Style – a simple, nostalgic fashion trend from the 1970s. TD architects developed the project around timeless classical charm infused with a modern spirit, crafting a living space that feels both emotional and impressive.

During the design process, the team explored the client’s aesthetic preferences through sketches and curated image collections on social media. With the client’s fondness for warm, retro-inspired tones, TD architects proposed the Mid-Century style, defined by rich, expressive palettes that reflect the owner’s distinct personality.

Warm retro color palette

The apartment comes alive through the mix of deep green, warm mustard yellow, natural wood brown, and retro burnt orange, evoking a nostalgic yet vibrant atmosphere.
In particular, TD architects introduced warm reds and lush greens into the common areas, creating a bold visual impact and stimulating inspiration.

Mid-Century furniture - simple, unique, and authentic

The Mid-Century essence is highlighted through furniture that is simple yet distinctive, with minimal ornate detailing while preserving its vintage spirit, enhancing authenticity and character.

To elevate the tactile quality of the apartment, the team combined wood, leather, and metal elements, adding refined accents that embody the Mid-Century aesthetic.

Bedroom - balance between material and light

The private resting space is softened by the interplay of antique brass wall lamps and woven textiles, creating a layered visual depth and a warm atmosphere. This thoughtful combination fosters relaxation and rejuvenation after long days.

One Verandah - vibrant and characterful Mid-Century living

The One Verandah apartment stands as a testament to the harmony between nostalgia and modernity. TD architects crafted a home that is at once artistic and expressive, while remaining warm and intimate – a true reflection of the owner’s lifestyle and individuality.
