Located in Ninh Thuận – a land often described with the saying “winds like whips, sun like fire” – TD architects chose the Mediterranean style as the primary design language for Phan Rang Villa. While staying true to the essence of this style, the team approached it with a more minimal and refined interpretation, offering a fresh and dynamic perspective.

The image of the cactus, a symbol of resilience and vitality closely tied to this sun-drenched land, became the central inspiration throughout the project.

Natural materials – rustic and inviting character

The design emphasizes natural materials such as wood, stone, and terracotta, preserved in their raw, rustic state to evoke warmth and nostalgia. Large windows were strategically placed to welcome natural light, highlighting the authentic beauty of the materials while connecting the interior with the surrounding landscape.

Champa Influence in modern design

Distinctive forms and lines inspired by Champa towers were refined and incorporated in a simplified manner. Combined with terracotta hues, cactus imagery, and a youthful perspective, the design achieves a balance between local heritage and modern sophistication.

The walk-in closet was envisioned as a private catwalk for the homeowners, featuring a vanity, full-length mirrors, and an island with multiple drawers for accessories and jewelry.
